I pursued certification in animal massage to help pets maintain or regain a healthy lifestyle. Massage training includes massage techniques, anatomy, kinesiology, and how to learn from my canine and feline clients. While providing massage I enjoy watching tension simply flow away. Encouraging a pet’s own body to help itself recover faster and endure less pain following an injury, surgery or illness is even more rewarding.
Raised with dogs and horses, I enjoy being a volunteer and foster mom for canine rescue groups. As a an owner of rescued dogs and a foster parent for dogs and puppies I have used stroking techniques to socialize and to reduce anxiety. As a student in obedience, rally, and agility I chatted with many people about the health of their canine companions and athletes and realized that massage would be an enormous benefit for them and their dogs.
I would love to help your canine companion or athlete be the best it can be — and I massage cats, too!
